Mitch’s and Max’s Vinyl Corner

This past Saturday I officially retired from the Marine Corps after 20 years & 8 months of service. Seven combat deployments to Iraq Afghanistan, the long hours, the sleepless nights, being away from family, was all worth it in the end. I am so thankful for the friendships that I’ve gained over these past two decades and the bond that will last forever.

Thank you to everybody who came far and wide to celebrate this special moment with me. I will remember this forever.

Never above you, never below you, always be beside you.

This feels performative, not constructive.

Things like this I believe hurt the wrong people. The local communities that rely on these businesses, the small businesses that operate within the thin margin, the most importantly the employees.

To all the protesters out there, you should protest upwards not inwards. I believe there are more constructive ways to go about protesting.

Civil dialogue and discussion need to be at the forefront of these issues. We are already so deeply divided and so disconnected from each other.
