I’m locking it in.

My debut feature-length screenplay is officially COMPLETE.

Seven drafts. Countless revisions. Beta reader feedback. Professional coverage. Every note that made the story stronger has been incorporated.

For the past year, writing felt impossible.

After losing my brother, there were days when I wasn’t sure I’d ever finish another major creative project again. But somewhere in the middle of that grief, I found a story worth telling.

A psychological horror film about grief, faith, memory, and the stories we tell about the dead.
Now the script is finished.

Next comes screenplay competitions, industry outreach, and the long road toward production.
I have no idea where this journey leads, but I know this:

The same determination that built Mog Plays is the same determination driving this film.

This is the biggest creative risk I’ve ever taken.
Wish me luck.

And if all goes according to plan…

Apologies guys! My Super Mario Sunshine stream was abruptly cutoff due to a technical difficulties my computer glitched out and powered down at the most awkward time but we managed to get through the first episode of Ricco Harbor.

This game is absolutely brutal. Its mechanics are not for the faint of heart and it’s so far not my favorite Mario game but I’m going to give it a I’ll fair shot. I didn’t quite like the first level as much as Ricco Harbor but Ricco Harbor did redeem Bianco Hills by a margin.

We’ll see how the summer goes, but thanks to everyone who tuned in! Much love. 💛

FNAF 3 was NOT supposed to be a one-sitting clear… but we did it. 🔥🐰

Maybe not as brutal as FNAF 1 or 2, but the tension and scare factor still absolutely hold up.

We also tested FNAF 4 – Night 1… and wow. That game is already setting a new standard. 👀

I can’t wait to dive back into the core collection.

Hey everyone—just wanted to check in.

I know I had streams scheduled the last couple of days and didn’t show up, and I didn’t want to just disappear without saying anything.

Monday was really tough for me. I lost my dog, Odin. He meant a lot to me, and I've been struggling to take it all in. He was only one. I’ve been taking a couple days to process everything and just get my head right.

Streaming is something I care a lot about, and I don’t want to show up halfway or force it when I’m not in the right place. I’d rather take a short step back and come back fully present.

I appreciate you all being here and supporting the channel—it really does mean a lot.

Five Nights at Freddy's has quickly become one of my favorite horror game series. It truly sets itself apart from other games in the genre with its innovative survival horror mechanics and lore depth. I completed the first game and am currently working my way through FNAF 2 and Security Breach.

So thinking ahead…

June 22 marks 5 years since I released my fantasy novel Dutybound.

It’s an epic fantasy story inspired by the kind of JRPG storytelling I love — character-driven arcs, moral tension, big emotional moments, layered worldbuilding.

There’s also a full audiobook version narrated professionally (which still feels surreal to say).

I’ve been thinking about celebrating the 5-year anniversary with a live stream where I give away a limited number of audiobook promo codes to Mog Plays subscribers.

Basically: free audiobook copies + hanging out live while I talk about how JRPGs influenced the story.

Gonna be missing Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance hard while I’m in Chicago for work this week 😭
