On March 13, 2026, FSSAI officially dropped a landmark order that completely overhauls the turnover thresholds for every Food Business in India.
If you are preparing for the CFSO or Technical Officer exams, these are the new numbers you MUST memorize.
The New 2026 Thresholds (Effective 01.04.2026):
✅ Registration: Now covers businesses with turnover up to ₹1.5 Crore (Massive jump from ₹12 Lakh!). ✅ State License: Turnover above ₹1.5 Crore to ₹50 Crore.
✅ Central License: Turnover above ₹50 Crore
