Guess who just bombed a 3000 year old UNESCO world heritage site in Lebanon, Tyre?
Guess!
It’s obvious
Hands off Lebanon. That civilisation is older than any made up story Israel can make.
Reminder that that city is the most prominent trader in the Mediterranean at the time, invented the alphabet (the first structured alphabet where you can make words out of letters), the origin of the word Europe (named after Princess Europa in Ancient Greek mythology who came from Tyre), it’s a city also mentioned in the bible with the King Hiram I, it was one of the last standing crusader strongholds and it is the inventor of royal purple.
So yeah gtfo of Lebanon Israel because Tyre isn’t the only city that has more history than you do.

Eid Mubarak!!!! 🎉🎉🎉
For Eid I thought, what do my countryhumans do on Eid? Well……
- Egypt: buys gold jewelry for all the women and silver for the men also loudly plays old Eid songs at 7am and forces everyone in North Africa awake
- Saudi: Tries to organise a gathering with the help of Qatar and Jordan and gives Eidi to his gulf buddies.
- Iran: Gives Eidi to everyone (Saudi gets the least amount) also sits in the corner of the gathering looking intimidating, then people thank him by calling him grandpa (he’s old.) Also secretly packed extra food containers for everyone.
- Palestine: follows Lebanon and Syria around everywhere. Helps cook the lunch with Algeria, Malaysia and Türkiye. eat more even though they barely sat down themselves. Gifts Lebanon and Syria some tatreez.
- Türkiye: Makes the dessert that looks and tastes DELICIOUS. Gets offended if people don’t try every dessert.
- Afghanistan: Quietly helps serve everyone food before eating. Gives heartfelt hugs that last too long. Brings homemade sweets wrapped carefully in cloth.
- Albania: Shows up fashionable and insists everyone dance after dinner even if they’re full.
- Algeria: spends hours grilling meat perfectly. Helps Palestine out the most with the cooking.
- Azerbaijan: Arrives elegant and well-dressed, brings tea and expensive-looking desserts. Helps Türkiye with the desserts but avoids getting in his way (Türkiye gets grumpy in the kitchen)
- Bahrain: runs around greeting literally everyone at the gathering. Is the first to accept Albanias challenge.
- Brunei: Extremely polite and generous with Eidi, quietly rich energy. Tries to give equal amount but Indonesia and Malaysia beg for more.
- Burkina Faso: Warm and community-focused, helps organize outdoor celebrations. And helps set up Eid prayer with Oman.
- Bangladesh: Shows up in a perfectly ironed outfit, takes 400 family photos, and somehow knows every piece of gossip before anyone else arrives. Keeps insisting everyone take group pictures “for memory.”
- Chad: Friendly but exhausted from dealing with everyone’s chaos. Hangs around Sudan most of the time.
- Comoros: Brings seafood dishes nobody expected but everybody loves.
- Djibouti: Somehow knows everybody at the gathering and keeps moving between friend groups like a social butterfly. Ends up sitting with the Arabs, Africans, and Turks all in the same hour. Quietly judges everyone’s tea-making skills.
- Gambia: greets everyone with Bahrian and Somehow remembers everyone’s names and anicent history. Ends the night dancing with Senegal.
- Guinea: Disappears halfway through Eid and comes back carrying extra chairs, drinks, and random supplies nobody realized were needed. Basically becomes the unofficial problem-solver of the whole gathering.
- Guinea-Bissau: Quietly hangs around near the music and ends up becoming the DJ by accident. Suddenly everyone realizes the playlist got way better when they took over.
- Indonesia: Fashionable in his traditional clothing and pestering Malaysia every chance he gets.
- Iraq: Alternates between joking, arguing, and feeding people nonstop. Rage baiting Syria alot and giving the best hugs imaginable

- Kazakhstan: Gets surprised with Eidi from Russia, Goes horse riding with Kyrgyzstan after Eid Lunch
- Kuwait: Hands out generous Eidi and expensive chocolates. Comes fashionably early.
- Kyrgyzstan: Goes horse riding with Kazakhstan, Spends half the Eid gathering outside because being indoors too long feels wrong.

- Mali: Community-centered and welcoming, helps distribute food around the neighborhood. Hangs around Morocco most of the time

- Oman: Calm peacemaker energy. Makes everyone sit down and relax. Main organiser of Eid prayer and makes sure everyone attends.
- Pakistan: Chaotic cousin energy. Competitive about food quality and Eid outfits. Tried to get Eid money out of India but failed miserably, she gave Eidi to Bangladesh though.

- Tanzania: Relaxed and cheerful, keeps conversations going late into the night.
