A little story behind Wisconsin Unfiltered ❤️
I actually started this channel years ago just for fun, sharing information, honest reviews, and places around Wisconsin that I thought might help or interest others. But back then, I was very camera shy and honestly not confident enough to show myself or speak much, so I slowly stopped posting and focused on school instead.
After that, I went back to college and studied accounting, business, marketing, and social media. Ironically, part of my university work involved creating videos and media projects 😅
After graduating, I started searching for remote accounting jobs, but while waiting and figuring life out, I picked up my camera again. Little by little, I started recording places, food, drives, and random moments around Wisconsin, and when my channel got monetized, I was honestly over the moon. It felt unreal that something I started so casually actually became something real.
So right now, this is kind of what I do during the hours I would normally be working if I had an office job 😅 And honestly… I really enjoy it.
Recently I took a very bold step for me and uploaded my first Urdu/Hinglish vlog. I was SO nervous posting it because it feels much more personal and outside my comfort zone.
But I also realized there are so many English Wisconsin creators… and almost nobody showing Wisconsin from an Urdu/Hinglish perspective.
So now I’m genuinely curious:

I’m heading to the Matz Farmstead Ruins in Cross Plains, WI, in few days. This historic site, tucked away in the Halfway Prairie Wildlife Area, holds the remains of a once-thriving farmstead, now standing as a hauntingly beautiful piece of Wisconsin’s past.
