Welcome to Photo Relic. If you like plain simple pictures of old black and white history, you've come to the right channel. On this channel we'll be looking at old America and other places too, as it was in earlier times. We'll look at all things about life back in those days. Old logging pictures, mining pictures, farming pictures, factory pictures, old everything pictures. See the world as it was 100 years ago when life was simple, times were tough and life was lived.
I'll be putting out a video every so often so be sure you are subscribed so don't miss any shows. If nothing else at least give me a thumbs up for my efforts. Also if I happen to have the wrong pronunciation about some place ..... don't get offended. It's probably because I ain't from there.
All the photos used in the videos are original photos. No AI images. Just the way it was 100 years ago. Photos are gathered from the archives. Some descriptions may be a bit vague but most have the date taken at least.

Ever hear about the Sugar Pine Lumber Company? It was one of the biggest logging shows in California in the early 1900's. It was first class and was know for building the crookedest railroad anywhere.

This video is all about the Canol Pipeline that was built right around the same time as the Alcan-Alaska highway. This pipeline ran from Norman Wells Northwest Territories to Whitehorse Yukon. I was brought oil for the WW2 war effort in Alaska.
