I'm making a series of kid's books to teach simple lessons on friendship, kindness, ABCs, geography, colors, numbers, bugs, etc. Please email me if you know a good publisher or book agent. This is going to be fun!
2025 was a challenging year. Maybe you’ve noticed that this page hasn’t been posting as much and the animations haven’t been coming out as often. For most of this year, my mental attention was consumed by an incredibly stressful legal situation.
For the last 4 years, I’ve been dealing with a dark cloud over my head. The more I ignored it, the darker it got. Essentially I was contractually tangled with a person who got enjoyment out of other people’s misery. I try to assume the best in everyone. When I trust someone, they become trustworthy. Believing that people are inherently good tends to bring out the best in them. This philosophy has worked well for me, but some people are rotten to the core and just want to see the world burn.
This issue has deeply disturbed my peace. I had trouble sleeping, my eyes twitched, my ears rang, the stress got to a point where it was difficult to put forth my best creations on After Skool.
Jesus tells us to love our enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you. I truly believe this is the path to follow, but what do you do when a demon parasite invades your space and won’t go away? How many times can you turn the other cheek?
About a year ago I knew this conflict was going to have to be faced head on. At the end of 2025, this issue was settled in court and thank God the judge saw everything clearly. We were fighting 6 different battles, and my side was victorious on ALL 6!
I walked out of the courtroom like I was Andy Dufresne in Shawshank Redemption.
Today the sun never shined so bright. Music never sounded so good. The dark cloud is gone. In the end, truth prevailed. I truly believe that God put me in this troubling position to teach me a profound lesson that I needed to learn. Some lessons have to be learned the hard way.
Now I know I can unleash my full creative potential here on After Skool. The road blocks are gone. My soul is open. I’m ready to dedicate all my energy to the next chapter of creation. Onward and upward.
Happy new year my friends. May 2026 be filled with love and prosperity. God bless.
Hello Friends! Black Friday starts now on the After Skool shop. All prints, calendars and clothes are 22% off when you use code: skool25 This hand-drawn art is designed to brighten your walls and bring peace of mind. Deal ends on Nov 29. Much love.
This animation is the best one yet. 6 weeks was spent writing the script and creating the art. Unfortunately, not many clicked on it. Maybe the title or thumbnail were too vague, but this one is worth a watch!
Just had an insightful conversation with Graham Hancock. I admire his research and curiosity. He has inspired a great deal of curiosity in me. When I began this podcast 2 years ago, I made a short list of "dream guests" and Graham was at the top of that list. Hopefully this podcast inspires you to pursue what you're curious about. Enjoy.
Dear Friends, I have good news and bad news. The bad news is there will be no video this week. 9 years ago, I made a commitment to put out an animation every other Tuesday, and for the first time in 9 years, I am breaking that commitment. This hurts. The good news is, I recently had a beautiful daughter and I feel truly blessed. I’m taking some time to learn how to be a dad. My priorities have shifted. This doesn’t mean I’m giving up on After Skool. Quite the contrary. Creating these animations still brings me fulfillment and inspiration after all these years. I’m eager to show my daughter how to draw, paint, animate and share all the amazing ideas I’ve learned on this journey. So in summary, the After Skool animations are still coming, but they won’t come out on a set schedule like before. I will simply release them as I complete them. So please be on the lookout. It’s been an honor to create these videos and I am so grateful for your support. Thank you!
Hi Everyone! This video on steroids is one of the best After Skool videos yet, but for some reason not many watched it. Maybe because it was released the day after Christmas, maybe because it discusses a lot of controversial material, who knows, but it's a fantastic episode. With this video, I attempted to create the most informative animation about the pros and cons of steroids, how they change the brain and body, and why so many teenagers are doing them. Please check it out!
After Skool just won an Emmy for my contribution to the documentary, “We’re All Plastic People Now”. I’ve done 3 animations now with Dr Shanna Swan about how plastic interferes with our health, especially our reproductive system. It’s pretty wild how this stuff never gets talked about, but I’m glad the documentary is getting some recognition!

A modern twist on Plato's Allegory of the Cave. This concept seems relevant.
