I really appreciate everyone giving the new video a chance. It didn’t perform as well as I would’ve liked, but at the end of the day, I’m really proud of how it turned out and I definitely plan on making more videos like it.

There was something about the change in style and editing that sparked a new wave of creativity for me. Like I said in my update video from a few weeks ago, icebergs and deep dives aren’t going anywhere. I’m just going to make them shorter, and I also want to switch up the editing style moving forward.

Between you and me, I think I’ve kind of outgrown the style of editing I’ve been doing for the last four years.

I’m pretty much ready to move away from the still images, PNG character art, stagnant editing, and all of that. The recent upload is basically the foundation for what’s to come with the editing style going forward. I’m still fine tuning things, but I’m genuinely excited about it.

Also, not to get too deep or weird, but I think I lost a lot of confidence in myself when I started hiding more behind the editing. Now I feel ready to just be more myself and give you guys more of an actual face behind the content. Obviously my face has never been hidden from the channel, I’ve always been public, but I want to be more consistent with it now.

I’m already working on the next video and it’s a really exciting project. So to everyone who genuinely cares about the videos and enjoys me as a person, thank you. I really hope you stick around and continue enjoying what’s coming next.

Howdy everyone!

So, my previous post was for good reason. I’m working on a BIG video about all of the media from my childhood, as well as yours, that was probably responsible for our trauma. The editing style is much different than what you’re used to seeing from me, but I genuinely hope you give it a watch when it premieres soon. And if you like it, maybe we’ll continue this style of content moving forward. I can already tell you a part 2 is possible, so show the video some love and we’ll see about doing more.

Hey everyone! Hope you're all enjoying spring. I know I am! I’m not even kidding either. There’s like zero snow on the ground right now. We finally got an early spring!

Anyway, the Moral Orel Iceberg remake is on pause because I’m planning to launch a new series in mid April. A series that will hopefully be just as big as the icebergs.

I won’t spoil too much, but I do have a question for you all. What are some obscure facts about Smiling Friends? Let me know in the comments!
