Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi officially announced the addition of two new rides in Metropolis part of its upcoming expansion, the rides are:
- 💎Kryptonite Collider which will be open on July 2026. The ride will be a flag ride.
- 🦸♂️Superman Up and Away which will be a next-gen face-down flying coaster set to open by 2028. The coaster will be the first ride within the park that will be operating outdoors.

May 10, 2026 – WBW Abu Dhabi expansion update 👀
New construction progress has been spotted around the upcoming expansion area, and things are starting to look much more defined.
The Harry Potter zone appears to be rising vertically, with more platforms and structures emerging, while the Superman coaster area now has clearer bases that look ready for the next construction phase.
There is also an interesting separation between Zone A and Zone B, which could hint at how the new areas will be organized once the expansion opens.
This is getting exciting. Which part are you most hyped for: Harry Potter or the Superman coaster? 🪄⚡️
