Spiritual psychotherapist, Casey Stevens, blends the science of human behavior with spirituality & consciousness for those in search of personal transformation and expansion for soulful intelligence.
The pain I see in my work is almost never about bad intentions or broken people. It comes back to an inability to feel something difficult without immediately needing to escape it.
When we can't tolerate what's happening inside us, it will find a way to come out somewhere or somehow. It shows up in substance abuse, impulsive decisions, chronic disease, physical abuse, etc.
The root cause of all these symptoms is emotional dysregulation. The ability to pause between what you feel and what you do. To stay present with discomfort long enough to choose your response instead of react from your wound.
If you're ready to integrate this work as a daily practice, my Consciousness Collective Circle might be exactly what you're looking for.
We gather every third Wednesday on Zoom. It's a live 90-minute circle where we regulate together, integrate what's shifting, and remember that we don't have to do this alone.
Many of us want relationships to feel supportive, emotionally safe, and connected, but we didn't grow up seeing what that actually looks like in real life. So we're learning as we go, often while also trying to unlearn patterns we didn't even realize we had.
For support in navigating these kinds of themes with more clarity and understanding, please join us inside Consciousness Collective. Sign up through my link in bio.
I am also opening space for new clients this Spring if you would prefer 1:1 support. Visit www.shrinkbigger.com to book a clarity call.
Most of us grow up thinking love is something you either feel or you don't.
But when you're actually in a relationship, you start to see how much love shows up in everyday moments. How we talk to each other when we're stressed. How we try to understand each other or how we keep an open heart during conflict.
Love is in the small things we choose over and over again. Our willingness to apologize, to listen and frankly, grow instead of staying stuck in the same patterns.
Over time, those choices are what make a relationship feel safe, steady, and real. As long as both people are actively participating.
I'm opening limited space for couples this Spring. Sessions are available in person at my new office in Seattle (Queen Anne Hill) or online.
If you're ready for this kind of work, you're welcome to reach out. www.shrinkbigger.com
When we feel alone for too long, it changes how we experience life.
It feels hard to stay motivated, to feel hopeful, or have access to any kind of steadiness.
When we're secretly carrying a heavy load without sharing, it can lead to a deep feeling of isolation and depression.
We need to find supportive people who we can talk to openly, who can help carry the load when it feels too heavy.
If this feels like you, I invite you to join us in Consciousness Collective. There's room for connection, coaching, witnessing, and honest conversation.
It is a supportive community that comes together every third Wednesday of the month from 5:30p-7p PT
The next one is tonight - there's still time to join. Click the link below to learn more and sign up.
We move through this kind of work together inside the Consciousness Collective. This is a space to slow down, to bring awareness to what's arising, and to begin shifting these patterns in real time-within yourself, and in connection with others.
Join us live on Zoom Wednesday, April 15th 5:00-6:30pm PT
The immediate reaction is often automatic, an attempt to move away from uncomfortable or painful emotions as quickly as possible. Can you relate?
But those feelings *always* return. And when they do, there is often another layer added... shame. You simply can't eat, shop, drink, or distract our way out of what we feel. This is why trauma healing begins with awareness.
Many people are not yet aware of what triggers them or how they cope.
But from a place of awareness, self-compassion becomes possible. It sounds like, "I respond this way because something in me feels unsafe." Then comes empowerment. It sounds like, "I am an adult who can make different choices."
And then you practice the great pause. Pausing helps you learn to set boundaries with yourself. It is a practice of learning how to soothe your system in ways that actually support you.
This is the work. It is a process of learning how to relate to yourself differently, over and over again.
This is the kind of work we do inside the Consciousness Collective. The next gathering is April 15th. Live on Zoom, 5:30-7:00 PM PT.
It is part of how we stop repeating the same patterns that create harm, within ourselves and in our relationships. As we take responsibility, build awareness, and meet ourselves with more honesty and compassion, we respond differently. And that is how healing extends beyond us.
It involves:
Becoming conscious: + As awareness grows, we begin to understand that we were doing the best we could with the level of awareness we had.
Understanding our coping mechanisms: + Many of the behaviors we regret are attempts to stay safe. + They can be dysfunctional and hurt others. + But they are still rooted in our need for internal safety.
This is where self-compassion begins. And over time, it changes how we show up.
This is the kind of work we do inside the Consciousness Collective.
A monthly space for healing, reflection, and real integration. Next gathering: April 15th Live on Zoom, 5:30-7:00 PM PT
Many of the patterns we struggle with weren't created in our thoughts - they were shaped by our experiences and stored in the nervous system.
Which is why change rarely happens through willpower alone. Real healing often begins when we slow down enough to listen to what our body is trying to tell us.
This is the kind of exploration we gently open up inside Consciousness Collective, my monthly online gathering where we reflect on the deeper layers of healing, growth, and human experience together.
We meet every third Wednesday from 5:30-7pm PT on Zoom. If you've been wanting a space to slow down, reflect, and connect with others on a similar path, I would love to see you there.
You can learn more and join us through the link in my bio.
I host a live monthly Zoom gathering called Consciousness Collective every third Wednesday from 5:30-7:00 PM PT. The next one is March 18th, just a couple of days away.
It's a space for people who want to meet themselves honestly - without rushing past what they're feeling. Together we explore the patterns, emotions, and inner signals that shape how we live and relate.
There's room for reflection, coaching, witnessing, and thoughtful conversation.
Come as you are-whether things feel clear, tender, messy, or somewhere in between.
If this feels like something you'd benefit from, you can learn more and join us through the link below.

Humanity is what lets us recognize ourselves in each other; the messiness, the hurt, pain and shame.
Wholeness is what allows all of that to belong.
It matters because connection doesn't come from perfection.
It comes from being fully here, as you are, where someone else can meet you.
