Returning to IIM Bangalore always brings back a sense of perspective.

Recently had the opportunity to speak at the IIM Bangalore Alumni Association on Wealth Management for Leaders.

One idea that stayed at the centre of our discussion was that financial freedom is not about having more money; it is about reducing forced decisions.

The conversation explored how wealth is often built not through predictions or concentrated bets, but through discipline, diversification, patience, and the ability to stay invested through uncertainty. We also discussed why investor behaviour frequently matters more than market forecasts and how simple instruments like index funds can play a powerful role in long term wealth creation.

What made the session particularly enjoyable was the quality of engagement. The IIMB community has a way of challenging ideas, asking sharp questions, and pushing conversations beyond conventional thinking.
