Seth MacFarlane, most known as the creator of the TV series - Family Guy.
He was drunk and overslept on the night of September 10, 2001.
In addition, his travel agency accidentally (to his advantage) messed up his flight time, on which he was supposed to take the flight the next day.
He arrived only 10 minutes too late to board the plane. He went to the jet bridge, but the gate was closed. Having no other option, Seth decided to take the next flight.
He went to the lounge and fell asleep. He woke up about 45 minutes later and was crying because the very flight he had planned to take, if he hadn't been late ā Flight 11 ā had just crashed into the North Tower.
Then he sat down and watched as the second plane reached the South Tower.
He turned to the guy sitting next to him and said:
"My God, that was the flight I was supposed to be on. I was running late, which is why I missed it."
