Yesterday I took the afternoon off for the first time in a long time and went exploring near one of the little fishing villages by me 🐚💙
I came across this heart-shaped natural pool right in the rocks by the ocean, and it felt so special 🤍 The waves were crashing nearby and the water kept moving through it.
I got to float around in it for a bit, then had some fresh fish and seafood after 🐟✨
It was all so simple, but it felt really, really good. Exactly the kind of reset I needed.
Just a little reminder that sometimes taking a break, changing your routine, and getting close to nature can shift everything, even in the smallest ways 🌊💫

Update 🤍
I wasn’t able to snap a photo of the little female this morning, but I wanted to let you all know that both cats are back and doing well.

This is our sweet boy pictured here — already eating and settling back into his rhythm. I’ve been able to lay eyes on both of them, and they’re eating, drinking, and recovering beautifully.

We were able to spay the young female just in time, before she went into heat, which feels like such a quiet but meaningful victory. Preventing even one litter makes a difference.

🐾 little surgery update 🤍
Both cats had their procedures today and everything went well.
The younger one turned out to be female — and we were able to spay her just before she went into heat. That feels like such a huge blessing. We truly caught her just in time, and that prevents so many future litters.
The adult male (pictured here) was also successfully neutered.

They’re both staying overnight at the vet to recover. I’ll be picking them up tomorrow and caring for them until they’re ready to be released back to their territory.

I feel very, very relieved tonight. This is why we do it — one at a time. 🤍✨
