Mine engineer by profession, ambassador for Ari Bikes (formerly Fezzari Bicycles), and completely nuts about human-powered adventure! From riding bike parks to re-discovering old long forgotten trails that have never seen a bike before (make sure it's legal!) to hiking all the places that my bike can't go to exploring out abandoned mine sites, there is so much amazing and wonderful stuff to see in this beautiful Earth! Doing it under the power of only your own mind and body is the best way to see it! Keep digging up new places to ride & adventure in the great outdoors, under your own power is always the best!

If you don't think the State should cull/massacre a huge number of mountain lions in the name of "study" to see if it will increase the deer population, please take a second to sign this petition! This "study" is a disgusting and senseless excuse to destroy a large portion of a species of animal that some people don't like, are scared of, and/or see as competion for their deer hunting. (I have a radical idea for you: maybe doing fewer deer tags every year would increase the deer population since hunters kill far more deer every year than lions do).
We've been given "dominion" over this earth and the other forms of life we share it with. That does not mean we can do whatever we want, using and abusing it. We'll be held accountable by our and its Creator for how we take care of and interact with this earth and all that calls it home.
These lions are beautiful and often very misunderstood animals that live wonderful lives out in their parts of the world, and they play a critical part in keeping the natural world balanced. I've had the privilege of seeing them on occasion in the wild. I'm sure they've seen me many, many times as I've visited their home.
We should not go and snuff out their lives just because we don't like them or are curious to see what happens.
