What happens when a plant shop sends me plants and I only have 30 days to transform them into gorgeous semi hydro plants? I got 4 plants from ‪@verdantdwellings‬ and in this video I show the results. You will be amazed. https://youtu.be/OtFHIYU12I8

This is a Leopard plant, also called the Farfugium japonicum 'Argenteum'. How gorgeous is that???? My mind is blown, and to make things even more exciting, it getting yellow flowers. Nature is the best artist!

This plant was gifted to me by the lovely people @uprooted as part of my Mystery plant box series (Check it out on my channel). I need to get this in semi hydro in 30 days. What method do you think I should use?

It's official, everyone and their dog is growing Alocasias in the trendy leca/moss glass vase combo! It is the hottest ticket in town. I decided to see what all the hype is about and see if the reservations I have about this method are valid or not. Find out what I learned here.

The piggyback plant also known as the thousand mothers plant. This plant has more names than I care to type out. The leaves are soooo fluffy and soft. I was a bit unsure when I unboxed this plant that @verdantdwellings sent as part of my Mystery plant box series. But I gotta say, she has grown on me. I love it!! #piggybackplant

Ficus Benjamina is one of the most dramatic houseplants you can own.

It’s not called a Weeping Fig for nothing.
This plant drops leaves if you look at it the wrong way.

So moving it from soil to semi hydro was always going to be risky.

In my new video, I show you exactly how I transitioned mine to LECA, step by step, and what I did to minimise leaf drop and stress.

If you’ve ever wanted to move a Ficus Benjamina to semi hydro but felt too scared to try, this one’s for you.

Full video is now live on my YouTube channel.

Remember this weird black ball on my Epipremnum?

It wasn't just for decoration. I finally opened it up after months of waiting, and the result is honestly a cheat code for moss pole plants.

If you’re terrified of chopping your top-heavy plants, you need to see what was hiding inside the ball. Air layering is officially in the building!

Have you done Air layering before?

Be honest... how obsessively do you clean plant roots before moving to LECA?

I used to think you had to get every speck of soil off to prevent root rot... but I just put that theory to the test.

I ran a 70-day experiment on two Dracaenas: One got a perfect root wash, the other went straight into LECA with dirty roots. The results honestly changed how I’m going to do things from now on!
