Everybody's enjoying the new F1 2006 skinpack by Dustin for AMS 2, which indeed is arguably the most complete yet. What makes it even more realistic, however, is a new modding feature that no-one seems to notice. The "Team Performance" or "Performance Scalar" has found its way into AMS 2 modding!

Now cars within the same model group can have different performance values. In the past, for us players, all cars within a certain model group drove the same, because they had the same physics, driving and handling values. The only difference was the textures.

The "Team Perfomance" modding feature has changed that for good! For example, in the F1 2006 pack, the "Ferrari" and the "Midland F1" are both generic model 1 cars. But they don't handle the same anymore. The Midland is clearly slower than the Ferrari.

For me that's a gamechanger!

I've made up my mind and I'm determined—my next Custom Championship in Automobilsta 2 will be the 1986 Formula 1 season!

The highlight of the classic turbo era, this season featured an epic title fight of some of the greatest drivers as well as probably the most difficult F1 cars of all time. In AMS 2 this is brought to life by the F-Classic Gen 1 class which includes 3 cars. Model 1 corresponds to the Williams FW11, Model 2 to the Arrows A9. The Lotus 98T is an original.

Thanks to the awesome skin pack and custom AI by ‪@ajfry9863‬ we can enjoy and recreate that F1 season in the utmost authenticity.

Hi all!

Now it's happened to me. My PC won't boot up anymore, and after several hours of troubleshooting, it seems that the motherboard is the culprit.

For me, that means ordering new parts, assembling and testing them.

Until then, there will unfortunately be no new content.

As frustrating as it is, I have to look ahead: Keep your fingers crossed that I'll be up and running again before Christmas.

Have a blessed Advent season, everyone, and don't take your stress to heart.

Project Motor Racing is the disaster we feared and a bitter disappointment for all sim racers who thought something big could come of it.

I won't be producing any content on it for the time being and advise everyone not to buy it until further notice.

Which brings me to my actual point: I have several topics in the works and would like to know what interests you most or most likely.

Hi all!

Just wanted to tell you that from now on I refrain from the Auto Dubbing Feature in YouTube Studio. It took one (German) user and actually my mom who complained about me using AI voice-over for German. Which is something I of course don't do and haven't done!

Nevertheless, the "mistake" is on me. I thought the Auto Dubbing only generated all texts (and subtitles) in other languages, that's why I had checked that box a few months ago. However, it apparently also has begun to replace my original voice with AI generated synchronizations for 20+ languages.

My mum played me a clip with a "German AI Timo", and I simply loathed it. I am a human with human emotions. And even if English isn't my native tongue, without any vanity I may say that hearing my actual, original voice is the way you should consume my videos, including all "eehs", my accent, false pronunciations and grammar errors.

Maybe in a few years, we will have trained the AI models up to a level where we won't be able to tell the difference anymore. But as it stands right know, I think it doesn't help me, my channel, or you to listen to this numb crap.

So, sorry, if you've had to listen to that. From now on it's off.

Remember, here on YT only English Timo is the real Timo!
