The Canon 135mm FD F2.5 is a killer telephoto lens that should not be overlooked. Adapting it to the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K like I did here gives a 257mm field of view when the 1.9x crop is factored in. With solid all-metal construction, this thing has some heft to it, especially up against the new FD lens variants.
Visited my parents over the weekend and thought I’d check out my old closet to see if I could find any old camera stuff. Ended up finding a Panasonic PV-L501D camera that my mom bought for my brother and me in 2001 (original receipt was inside the camera case). The camera looked to be in excellent condition but I couldn’t test it because there was no battery charger or tapes in the case. I ordered a replacement charger and picked up a couple brand new VHS-C tapes. Waiting for the charger to arrive so I can test out the camera.
