After taking my dog out, I walked down these steps to go into my house and noticed this single flower in my
backyard blooming out of the dirt. I had to take a picture because this spoke to me…

Resilience With Purpose

The journey for this flower seemed hard, tough, challenging….. like many of us…. But when you stick with it, don't give up, keep pressing, you'll grow tall and strong enough to see over that stone wall that stood in the way… and when you do, your vision is clearer to see beyond your present circumstances, your strength is rejuvenated, and you begin to blossom into who God has called you to be.

That little flower didn’t choose an easy place to grow — the dirt by the steps, maybe even shaded or trampled ground — but still, it chose life. It’s a reminder that beauty and strength can emerge in the most unexpected spaces, and that sometimes what looks like a harsh environment is actually the proving ground that shapes our faith and endurance.

The stone wall, to me, represents not just obstacles but perspective — how sometimes we only see what’s right in front of us until we’ve pushed through and grown tall enough to see beyond it…. And in doing so, we realize the struggle wasn’t just about surviving; it was about preparing to see more clearly what God had waiting on the other side.
