I wrote this over a year ago from an extremely anxious and low place. My confidence was pretty nonexistent, and I was interacting with people who didn't actually care about me. There were a lot of sudden ghostings and removals, and I really hit a limit with how many I could withstand. It was impacting my sense of self and confidence since I would constantly overanalyze my actions and ignore the good qualities I do possess. In 2025, I focused on my own life and my health, and it has been the best way to build my independence and bring back my joy. Even now, I still struggle with not feeling good enough, but having my own life to focus on has made these things impact me a lot less.

Oh my gosh! 8 years ago today I started this YouTube channel. I can’t believe so much time has passed ALMOST A DECADE?!
I see so much visible in growth in myself as a musician, singer, writer, and most importantly person. I never thought I could get to this point where I’m so comfortable being myself on camera.
I have gone through such a visible transformation, and having this channel was the reason for a lot of that change.
It pushed me out of my comfort zone.
Forced me to get better at speaking to a camera.
Inspired me to practice and write.
And most importantly has boosted my confidence when interacting with people in my real life.
I have developed so many skills by consistently running this channel for so many years, and I’m grateful it’s been such a consistent part of my life !
If you’ve ever supported me in any way over the years, even if you don’t watch anymore, thank you so much. You’ve been a huge part of me growing up.

This song is very special to me -- a combination of romantic nostalgia and melancholy acceptance. I tend to romanticize the past, especially when it was so beautiful and good in the moment. However, after circumstances change, daydreaming and lingering do me more harm than good, but sometimes it can't be helped. Sometimes those feelings flood back and remind me of the people I miss so much who I will never have again. But, past versions of me are grateful for these experiences and the guys who treated me so well.
