I'm really surprised to see some people think I like Subaru and Re:Zero just because of things like "Aura Monster," "Happy Birthday Daniel,"...
well, it's not that simple. "Aura Monster" or "Happy Birthday Daniel" are just memes. They're just scenes that show Subaru's emotions at that moment, but they happened to be memeized and went viral. I believe many people who jump on the bandwagon only know Subaru and Re:Zero through them, while they haven't even watched an episode or read a chapter of Re:Zero.
There are many reasons why I like Re:Zero: - First, about Subaru. He's unlike any other isekai character before. He's not strong, he doesn't get everything easily, he goes through a lot of suffering, he's wrong, he's right, he has excellent character development, he's really realistic to me. I really like his writing, not just the meme like "Aura monster", .etc Btw, I believe anyone who says Subaru is useless is just a bunch of online bandwagoners. - Other characters. Hey, do you really think only Subaru stands out? No way, the other characters in this series are also incredibly well-developed, fulfilling their roles perfectly. Each character has their own story and inner world; they're not just a bunch of NPCs watching. - Re:Zero has a plot and execution that I really like. There are many episodes I love, like "Parent and Child" and "The Outside of Madness." - The artwork and character designs are also very pleasing to my eye. Etc.
There are many more reasons why I love Re:Zero.
Even though I know quite a few other works like Lord of the Mysteries, Umineko, Reverend Insanity, etc., Re:Zero will always hold a special place in my heart.
Of course, this post is not meant to offend anyone, I don't force anyone to listen to me or must have the same opinion to me . I just want to clarify my perspective, my way of seeing things, and correct some misunderstandings some of you have about me and Re:Zero, I know this post is poorly written because I lack the skills and my English is bad asf lol
And to this day, Re:Zero is far from over; the anime has only aired season 4, and the web novel is still in arc 10
