Thought I’d share some poetry from the very depths of my brain.

Today marks a year that you left, I wish I could see you again, There’s much to tell without fret, Yet the year has been crazed, With life and work, but yet you’re not here, Making the world more lonesome, The more I think, While I did not tell you this much, I thought of you as family, mi Hermano, I still think of you, And Not a day goes by without a thought, I look back at the videos, I recall the jokes, I think of your contagious laugh, How I miss it all, All I can do is reminisce of the past, I long for the nights again, Chatting, gaming, doing everything but negative thinking, But Today marks a year that you left, Yet my psyche is stuck, Thinking you’ll be back yet again, Although, Only with the end of me, Might I see you again, If I must track through hell to reach a gate of light where you reside, I’ll do so in a heartbeat, And tell you stories of all that’s been done, And tell you sorry that I could not do much, Yet my time isn’t over, I must continue for my family, but you will remain on my temple, Forever, Until my death, And we shall meet again, If that plain exists, And I’ll tell you, That I’ve missed you, And that I love you, My brother, May you rest with ease and I’ll speak to you once again, on your birthday.
