Yo. It's me, your goat, Shape. You might know me as the "Nioh God" (a totally not self-proclaimed title, I swear), but we are slowly working on expanding the kingdom. If a game has a hyper-complex combat system, punishing boss fights, or frame-perfect parries, I'm going to break it down, master it, and probably show off just a little bit while I do.

Hunter's Log: Day 1 🦖
The first day of Monster Hunter World is officially in the books! I took down a few bosses and ended the first stream after beating a "Jyuratodus"... whatever that is. As far as I can tell it's a very angry, very muddy fish that refuses to stay on land...? Neat.
I spent most of the stream tooting my own horn, (hunting horn) and I think I'm really ...striking a chord with this combat style. (I'll stop, I promise). But I'm open to taking suggestions on what other weapons would be fun to play, lemme know :)

Anybody else play FFT? Started up a new run yesterday and the voice acting in The Ivalice Chronicles is SO GOOD. I didn't think it was scientifically possible but the new voice acting somehow made me hate Argath even MORE than I did on the PS1. 10/10 stuff.
You know an actor did a phenomenal job when you immediately want to start throwing stones at their character on the spot. Not that I needed help with that motivation.
Or am I being too harsh on ol' Argath?
