For the last week the Soul_In_Need YouTube Channel was prohibited from posting any videos due to a COPYRIGHT STRIKE on the channel. Today was the end of the 1 week band on this channel. Last month I worked on a 3 hour Fan Made Tribute Video for 2Pac and the video was supposed to premiere on the channel on September 16th @ 8:00pm EST for the celebration of Tupac Shakur's life and legacy.

As a result of the Copyright Strike the video was unable to be seen. I did appeal several videos that have been BLOCKED on the channel and currently those videos are now for the first time viewable on YouTube. The 3 hour Fan Made Video Birthday Tribute for 2Pac however is still at a PRIVATE Visibility status as of this post.

I don't know when or if the video will ever be able to be seen by anyone else except myself. The frustration of this issue is off the charts! The communication from YouTube is confusing, inconsistent and not helpful. Only time will tell what's is going to happen to resolve this issue with YouTube. But YouTube so far has NOT been very helpful.

YouTube BLOCKED both of my "Fan Made Videos" for Busta Rhymes "The Coming (Intro) & "Getting It" a few days ago! Obviously this is highly frustrating as these videos are dedications to the artists. The Fan Made Videos helps to celebrate, promote and bring awareness to the music many people may have not been exposed to up until now.

Ultimately this is a stupid self defeating practice by the license owner to copyright block content. I don't get paid from this, I don't make money from this. I'm just simply trying to pay respects and awareness to the music. The whole situation is super ignorant! Not only does this hurt the artist but it also hurts the copyright owner. No one's going to know about the songs or be inspired to buy the music if no one is playing or sharing the content!

Going forward, I will not make videos for Busta Rhymes music or any other artists music that gets blocked on YouTube. I know the artists have nothing to do with this. The copyright owner or company is the reason for this nonsense!
