Welcome to the rift, Heroes! With the official launch here, the competition is going to be fierce. If you want to dominate your first few matches and climb the ranks, follow these 5 Golden Rules:
1️⃣ Don't Just Chase Kills, Chase GOLD! 💰
In HOK, items win games. Focus on "Last Hitting" minions. If you miss the last hit, you lose gold. A rich player with 0 kills is more dangerous than a poor player with 3 kills!
2️⃣ Master Your "Arcana" Early! 💎
Think of Arcana as your secret weapon. Before you jump into Ranked, check the "Recommended" Arcana sets for your hero. They provide massive stat boosts to your attack power and health.
3️⃣ The Map is Your Best Friend! 🗺️
The girl in our cover art, Ying (the spear-wielder), is incredibly fast. If you aren't looking at your mini-map every 5 seconds, heroes like her will jump out of a bush and end your streak before you see them!
4️⃣ Objectives > Everything. 🐉
Killing the Tyrant or the Overlord gives your whole team a massive advantage. If you win a team fight, don't just go back to base—ping your team to take the Dragon!
5️⃣ Claim Your Freebies! 🎁
