This Year the Auspicious Akshaya Tritya Falls on 22nd April 23
Wish you all a very Spiritual, Blissful, Prayer filled and Joyous Sri Akshaya Tritya(The Abhijit Muhurata)
Many of the famous events in the past have occurred on this very day.
Appearance Day of Bhagvan Parsurama.
Treta Yuga started on this very day.
Srimati Ganga Devi descended on this very day.
On this day Srimati Draupadi received the Akshaya Patra from Bhagvan Sri Krishna.
The very First recitation of Mahabharat was done by Srila Vyasadeva on this very Day.
The construction of chariots for the Ratha Yatra festivities of Jagannath Temple also commences on this day at Puri, Odisha.
The Main Lord Vishnu and Lord Krishna Deities are applied fully with Chandan on this Day.
Sripad Madhavendra Puri's Chandan Yatra Started on this day and so all the ISKCON Temples observe this in a grand way for 21 days.
Akshaya Tritiya day is the very auspicious day - there's no inauspiciousness to be found today so even checking muhurthas is considered unnecessary, so auspicious it is. Whatever one does for devotees, and for Krsna that person will get more benefit and it is eternal benefit and never lost.

Recently I along with my friends visited Dzongu and Gurudongmar Lake in North Sikkim. It was raining heavily and roads were blocked in many places. We took our New Force Gurkha 4x4 vehicle. We also had to sleep inside our car for 2 nights. But luckily we got to visit all the desired places and got to explore....
