After a 6 hour drive I have officially made it home and survived my first Download Festival. I had a blast, but there's definitely a few controversial talking points for us to talk through from camping chairs to having a little too much fun on the Ferris Wheel. Join me on Wednesday night for that one. For now, who was your favourite of the 3 headliners? I think it had to be Linkin Park for me.
The video on band-maid has done incredible, thank you so much for the support it means the world! This has just cemented that I have to do a deep dive into the Japanese scene in general, so what bands is it critical that I check out as part of my research? And you never know, if there's enough demand out there they might just get a breakdown video of their own...
Just walked out of a screening of Bring Me The Horizon's L.I.V.E in São Paulo cinema experience and it has blown my expectations out of the water.
The way they captured the live experience and immersed it in the concepts of their post-human albums was second to none, and I've walked out with my love for them stronger.
I do have a few minor tweaks I would've loved to see, particularly surrounding the setlist but maybe I'm being too picky. I'm going to do a full breakdown and review of the experience as a bonus video this Friday so stay tuned for that.
Have you seen the L.I.V.E in São Paulo experiment? If so what were your thoughts?
This was certainly not a day I saw coming so soon but the support on the most recent video has blown me away, and we have smashed past the goal of hitting 1000 subscribers!
This post is a little late as I’ve spent the day trying to reply to as many of you guys as possible on the recent upload so I apologise for that.
Whether you have been here from the earlier days or have just joined with the flock of The Warning Army that have been so kind and supportive, I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart.
This is still only the beginning, as I’m going to keep the videos coming every single Sunday, so feel free to let me know in the comments here what bands or albums or even live concerts or festivals that you want to see me cover on the channel, and I’ll do my best to cover as many as possible. Ive seen a lot of love for band maid so feel free to either vote in the poll below, or comment your own ideas. I’d love to hear from you!
Thank you again one final time and have a great rest of your day. P.S I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve coming very soon, so keep your eyes peeled.
