❤️‍🩹Healing is one of those topics that exposes what people really believe.

And because of that, it deserves to be handled carefully.

I’ve stood beside hospital beds where prayers didn’t turn into the outcome we hoped for. I’ve also stood in rooms where doctors had no explanation for what changed. I watched my own mother come out of a coma with severe brain damage when she wasn’t expected to survive. I also watched my dad’s mom live crippled by MS for over 30 years and pass away. And my uncle — completely healthy — passed shortly after Covid.

I don’t live in denial of either reality. I’ve experienced both.

I’ve watched people grieve deeply. I’ve also watched sickness break.

So when someone tells a hurting family they just didn’t have enough faith, that’s not bold theology — that’s immaturity. Grief is not the place for accusation. Ever.

At the same time, I refuse to shrink back from what Jesus actually said. He didn’t introduce healing as a metaphor. He introduced it as part of the Gospel.

Do I understand every outcome? No.
Do I understand every delay? No.

But I won’t let mystery turn into unbelief.

If I stop believing healing is possible because I’ve seen loss, then I’ve let experience redefine truth instead of letting truth interpret experience.

That’s not condemnation. That’s conviction.

So I will keep praying.
I will keep believing.
And I will keep making room for testimonies — even if they don’t all look the same.

At the end of the day, I believe God is good. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy — and I won’t let tragedy rewrite who God is.
