So… small update from us.
We’re going to push the launch of our Cult Survivor Series to next week.
Not because we’re behind for the sake of it, but because these stories matter. And the people trusting us with them matter even more. We want to get this right, not just get it out.
So we've chosen not to rush this.
There’s a responsibility that comes with telling stories like these. Every time we sit down to work on this, we feel it.
So we’re taking a beat, finishing it properly, and giving it the care it deserves.
In the meantime, we’re taking a day off!

New Interview Just Released — My Story with The Free Press

I recently sat down with The Free Press to talk about my life growing up in Scientology, what it was really like inside, and what it took to finally leave.

This conversation goes deeper than a lot of interviews I’ve done. We talk about what it means to be born into something you didn’t choose, how control operates from the inside, and what it actually takes to reclaim your life when no one ever gave you that choice.

If you’ve followed this channel, you already know pieces of my story. But this interview connects a lot of those pieces in a way I hope helps people better understand what life inside a high-control group really looks like and why speaking out matters.

Hi everyone!

We wanted to let you know that we’ll be taking a short break over the holidays. Between work commitments and spending some much-needed time with our kids, we’ll be stepping back for a little bit.

That said, we’ll be back on December 28th with something very special: a year-end fundraiser for The Michael J. Rinder Aftermath Foundation, including important updates, special guests, and ways you can help us continue supporting those rebuilding their lives after leaving Scientology.

We also want to acknowledge that this time of year can be especially difficult for many in our community. For those impacted by Scientology’s policy of disconnection, and for anyone dealing with loss, separation, or other personal challenges, please know that you are not alone. We had an extra-special holiday this year! Our dear friend Serge Obolensky came to visit us for Thanksgiving, and it truly made the day brighter.

If you know Serge and his story, you know he brings heart, humor, and a whole lot of history with him. Sharing the holiday with someone who has walked the journey out of Scientology and overcome so many obstacles, while maintaining the most positive outlook, was especially meaningful.

Mike Rinder summed up Jason Bennick the best here:
"Jason Bennick formerly the Chief Officer Gold. He was a favorite Miscavige punching bag in Golden Era. He was known as a serious butt-kisser, and remains that way to this day. Not sure how he escaped Gold, but he runs a car repair business in Clearwater and is used by OSA still to defend the abuses of Miscavige."
