Master of Blades - Invidious

So I got the chance to see Toy Story 5 with my family yesterday so here is my spoiler free review

Man. It’s so good to know that Pixar can still make banger movies even if it’s sequels (I will say Hoppers is really good too) many of my friends said they weren’t gonna see it cause they thought it was pointless and they thought Pixar was just milking the franchise at this point but honestly I thought the concept of toys adapting to the age of technology was very interesting. There were some parts of the movie that straight up made me say “Dang. What has this world come to?” There was a shot of the entire neighborhood at one point and all the kids were on the lillypads which honestly made me realize how kids have changed. I thought the emotional aspect was done really well and I’m glad Jessie had her time to shine. I will say I don’t think we got enough of Buzz and Woody. In fact, some toys literally only had like one or two lines and felt useless. My only other critique was the army Buzz side plot. I was so lost and confused by that side plot. Other than that, amazing story and great emotional impact.

You know what, since a lot of people were anticipating Godzilla the Conquest to come out, I figured it would only be fair if I shared the details, plans, and what would have gone down in Godzilla the Conquest.

So, Godzilla the Conquest would have taken place 2 years after the events of Godzilla the Rebirth. Godzilla and his kingdom at this time are thriving and have become one of the most powerful kingdoms in the land. However, Shimo and his army arrives (yes Shimo would have been a guy in this series cry about it) and completely destroy Godzilla’s kingdom as well as taking him hostage. While Shimo has Godzilla as his prisoner, Mecha-Kong and the rest of Godzilla’s army would go out in search of Shimo’s kingdom to bring back their king. They go to other kingdoms and gain allies such as Gamera and Mothra. While that is going on, Godzilla would have been forced to become a gladiator and be fighting constantly in a ring with giant horrifying monsters. Shimo is basically throwing everything he has trying to kill Godzilla and to see how powerful he is. Basically playing with his prey. However, somehow, Godzilla breaks free and tries to escape but Shimo catches up and they have a long fight. However, this fight would’ve been the equivalent of the season 1 Omni Man vs Invincible fight. Shimo would tear Godzilla apart nearly killing him and basically leaving him for dead. Shortly after, Mecha-Kong, Gamera, and Mothra arrive to see their king dead. They would be enraged and fight Shimo while all the other soldiers would fight Shimo’s Shimo would kill Mothra and Gamera while nearly killing Mecha-Kong. However, before Shimo gets the chance to kill Mecha-Kong, a massive beam of energy from the sky blasts at Godzilla’s body which causes him to wake up and evolve. Shimo and Godzilla would engage in a much more fair fight with it ending with Godzilla giving Shimo the female muto treatment.

Now when it comes to lore, in this series, we learn that there are six different types of Gojirian species. Fire, Ice, Lightning, Plant, Water, and Earth. Shimo was the leader of the ice Gojirians. However, he would have received a prophecy that a fire Gojirian would end his rule so he basically wiped out all the other Gojirians including the other types. This is why Gojira and Dragin are hiding at the beginning of Godzilla the Rebirth. Also we find out that Shimo is responsible for the death of Godzilla’s mom.

Okay so for those who were not at the live stream, here’s basically what I said.

I am retiring from action figure videos mainly because YouTube has been really stressful for me and it has become less of a want and more of a need while I was also trying to juggle work and college at the same time. But. That doesn’t mean I’m leaving YouTube for good. I will still be making community posts and I will still be around to comment on y’alls stuff but the next time I upload will be around August. The future for the Master of Blades channel is bright and entering a new era of God willing more quality content. During this time I pray that friends at college will help me along the way and help me go somewhere far. I also have been working on a script which when finished I can hope to share with you guys somehow. It has truly been an honor making these kind of videos for you and it really makes my heart happy that I left such an impact on this community I couldn’t have been more proud of myself. Thank you guys so much for your support and the willingness to help me move forward in the future and to embrace what is to come on this channel. 🫡
