The state of California has declared September 9th as "Calif Bucket List Day."

California State Assemblymember Diane Dixon, State Senator Office Of Senator Tony Strickland and Supervisor Janet Nguyen introduced this proclamation to Cindy Lee with Bucket List Coach Travel and Tours

Cindy Lee, Encourages Californians to Celebrate the State's History by Creating a "California Bucket List"

The Orginal Bucket List Coach, calling on Californians to celebrate the state's rich history by creating a personal "California Bucket List" in honor of California Admission Day on September 9.

September 9 marks the anniversary of California's admission as the 31st state to the Union in 1850. While many people are familiar with "Admission Day," Lee believes it's the perfect opportunity to combine historical celebration with a forward-looking, personal sense of adventure.

"Every year, September 9 is a reminder of California's official place in our nation," says Lee. "But this day can also be a personal call to action. I want to encourage every Californian to take a moment and think about the experiences they've always wanted to have within their own state—the places they want to see, the cultures they want to explore, the adventures they want to take.

To help individuals get started, Cindy Lee suggests a few simple steps:

Dream Big: Take time to brainstorm all the things you've always wanted to do in California. Don't worry about logistics—just let your imagination run wild.

Break It Down: Categorize your list into manageable sections like "Nature & Outdoors," "Food & Drink," "Arts & Culture," or "Historical Sites."

As a HUGE AVIATION GEEK... THIS BREAKS MY HEART! I grow up near ‪@60thAMW‬ not live in So Calif. But always love for the F 14, C 5 and Warbirds! Tragedy struck last Saturday, as two historic aircraft collided during a performance in the Wings Over Dallas 2022 Airshow. The aircraft involved in the collision both performed at the Wings Over Houston 2022 Airshow, just two weeks prior to this unfortunate event. Here's my footage of both aircraft performing during the show. My condolences go out to the families of the crews and those involved on both aircraft.

Here's the official statement from the Commemorative Air Force (CAF):

On Saturday, November 12, two aircraft were involved in a mid-air collision at Dallas Executive Airport. The aircraft were a B-17 Flying Fortress and P-63 Kingcobra, both out of the Houston area. Currently we do not have information on the status of the flight crews as emergency responders are working the accident. The Commemorative Air Force is working with local authorities, the FAA, and the NTSB will conduct a thorough investigation into the cause of the accident. Our thoughts and prayers are with those involved in the accident and their families.
