How it started vs. how it’s going 😮💨😆 This was NOT the plan. The people who sold us this boat are kind folks who never intended to screw anyone over.. but damn there was a lot of hidden rot on this boat.. what started as a weekend project to fix a soft spot in the deck quickly turned into an 8 month long scramble to rebuild 1/4th of the boat before it gets smashed by another hurricane. I’ve learned a lot in the process and had to double back over a lot of my work to fix mistakes but she’s finally looking like a boat again.

It’s hard to believe I’m giving up this view 😮💨 This is my backyard, literally. It’s gorgeous, but I think we settled down a little too young, we aren’t ready to lay roots down forever and we can’t get over this constant itch at the back of our minds that there are higher levels to reach, new places to explore and better environments to thrive in. We have worked so hard to become free, and now the only thing holding us back, is our things… So I’m enjoying our last days few weeks in the valley before heading out on our next big adventure. Tomorrow morning I’m sharing a YouTube video discussing why we have decided to sell pretty much EVERYTHING! I know that most people won’t understand, they will caution us and tell us we are throwing our lives away and that we may never build a life this good again. But we will do it anyways, because we don’t want to live like them and because no one ever made it anywhere in life without risk and sacrifice.

My Tacoma has gone through many transformations in its lifetime but none of them have had quite an impact as this recent rebuild that we have been working on! For starters @walkerfablab built custom ultra high clearance light weight bumpers for the front and rear ( don't worry, that winch we used for fitment will be replaced soon). Then the truck made its way to @marlincrawler where they outfitted it with too many mods to list, some of them will actually blow your mind, you will have to wait for the episode on Youtube!
Then we added @lockedoffroad coil overs, bumps, and bypasses for a crazy smooth ride. But wait, there's more... we also added @relationracewheels beadlocks and @mickeythompsontire 38s!
