Aquapunk is a niche, speculative fiction aesthetic that blends underwater or nautical themes with the rebellious, dystopian sensibilities of cyberpunk or steampunk.
🌊Aquapunk Themes & Aesthetics Include :
• Submarine Dystopia: Explores deep-sea environments where technology is adapted for extreme underwater pressure, often featuring rusted submarines, steampunk diving suits, and bioluminescent lights.
• Resource Scarcity: Focuses on survival, scavenged aquatic tech, and the conflict between humanity and the deep ocean (or corrupted marine authorities).
• Oceanic Architecture: Visuals heavily lean into floating cities, sunken ruins, and domed underwater research facilities.
