As yk, my school has started and exams are also coming up, sooo I'd like to let y'all know that I won't be as active because I really need to focus on my studies and also make memories (offline as well as online). So, keeping my phone away for a while is something I'd like to do this year.

Am I the only one who's slowly losing motivation to edit?

I've spent hours editing videos, trying to make every transition, beat sync and effect look perfect... only to end up with 38 or 68 views.

Meanwhile, someone uploads a random photo edit, reposts another creator's work or barely spends a few minutes on an edit, and somehow it gets thousands of views.

Like... Brooo HOW?!?

And before anyone says, "You're just jealous," this isn't about jealousy.

It's about watching editors who genuinely put their heart into their work get ignored, while low-effort or unoriginal content gets pushed by the algorithm.

What's even more disappointing is seeing people steal edits or ideas without giving credit... and sometimes those copied edits end up getting more recognition than the original creator ever did.
Honestly, I think I understand why so many editors are starting to quit.

When you spend so much time creating something you're proud of, only to see it go unnoticed again and again, it becomes really hard to stay motivated.

There are so many talented editors in this community who deserve far more appreciation than they're getting.

I just wish YouTube rewarded originality and hard work as much as it rewards trends.
